What to look for this year
There’s more to explore this year than ever before! You’ll find our stores brimming with top quality and locally-grown culinary herbs, combination patio planters and boxes, hearty succulents, big beautiful geraniums and premium Boston ferns. And that’s just the beginning.

Ferns

The Boekestyn family grows stunning ferns, right across Lake Erie in Ontario, Canada. The size of the ferns is remarkable and we think they are a great addition to your home – inside and out!

Annual Hanging Baskets

Mixed Combination Baskets
Our mixed combination hanging baskets come in a variety of colors and arrangements.

Have the perfect spot for a big, beautiful hanging basket? Check out our selection of impressive, premium quality annual hanging baskets from our friends at Eagle Creek Growers in Mantua, featuring favorites like fuchsia, impatients, dahlia bowls, petunias, calibrochea, and many more.

Want a variety of colors and textures? Our mixed and combination baskets feature multiple plant varieties arranged in one impressive basket.

Low-Maintenance Pots and Planters

Spruce up the porch or patio and choose from assorted large or small pots and planters for full-sun, partial sun or shaded areas.

Dahlia Flowers

Don’t miss a customer favorite; our classic geranium pots grown exclusively for us. These are called “Mother geraniums,” because they are only grown from cuttings of mature, Mother plants and are stronger than new plants grown from seed. The result is an extremely hearty, tried and true bloomer that is perfect for the container gardener.

A bold succulent planter makes for a unique, high-styled and very low-maintenance way to add interest to any outdoor space.

Our, perfect-for-the-patio, potted plants come in a variety of shapes and sizes designed to fit any space. We have round and square germanium pots or large Tuscan pots, ideal for full-sun conditions. For partially shaded spots, our New Guinea impatients are the perfect thing.

Vegetables and Herbs

Living Culinary Herbs
Our premium culinary herbs are great for the garden or a pot. Perennial and annual varieties available.

No space for a vegetable garden? No problem. We have potted tomato plants for the patio that never need to leave the pot. There’s no garden needed to enjoy fresh grown-at-home tomatoes all summer long.

We have a wide selection of premium culinary herbs that make it oh-so-easy to incorporate fresh cut herbs in your favorite dishes. Take what you need, as needed, and enjoy quality herbs well into the summer months. Grown in Chagrin Falls, Ohio by our friends at Art Form Nursery, you can count on only the best tasting and longest lasting herbs available.

Throughout the month of May and into early June, we’ll have fresh products arriving weekly so check back often.

Supplies are limited and selection varies by location. Heinen’s Garden Celebration is not taking place at our Downtown Cleveland Store.

  1. You have patio flats outside Heinen’s of different varieties of tomatoes. Can you please tell me what the price of these are? Thank you.

    1. Hi Marsia,

The patio tomatoes are $9.99 each and are selling very quickly. I hope that helps, and thanks for shopping at Heinen’s.

    1. Hi Sandy – Select stores will have the knockout roses this year. 1.5 gallon pots are $14.99. We recommend calling your store to check if they will have them.

  2. Please tell me you are again going to sell the smaller yellow and orange hibiscus plants from Canada at Middleburg or Strongsville. Am waiting patiently. Thank you.

    1. Hi Debbie – We will have hibiscus in June & July, and orange is usually a color we carry. We recommend reaching out to your store to check if they will be ordering it, as each individual store stocks different things.
