Pumpkins and gourds

Hello Fall! Locally Grown Farm Report

Fall is officially here and you know what that means — pumpkins, squash, apples and the bounty that the harvest season brings. And if that’s not exciting enough, this week brings fall decor galore: corn stalks, painted pumpkins, mini pumpkins and a multitude of colorful gourds. So pour yourself some cider (we’ve got that too!), stock up on squash for soups and more, and get decorating for the best fall ever!

Be sure to check your Heinen’s for even more locally grown produce, thanks to our relationships with our Ohio and Illinois farmers (some of whom have been supplying us with produce for three generations.)

We’ll keep you updated on what’s available from these and other farms as the season goes on with your Locally Grown Farm Report. (Availability may vary from store to store depending on weather conditions and demand.)
